2021

Like everywhere, things were a bit different on Coochie in 2020, with national and regional lockdowns disrupting some activities and events on the island. 
At times, the weather can get in the way of all the best planning
for an event, too, so please check and confirm with the organisers closer to the date or on the day of any announced event. 
COOCHIEMUDLO BEACH MARKETS

The Coochiemudlo Progress Association's foreshore markets feature local arts, crafts, produce, clothing, bric-a-brac, food and music right at Main Beach next to the playground. They are held 5 times a year:
Australia Day, Easter Sunday, Flinders Day, 3rd Sunday in September, first Sunday in December.  Stallholder details and bookings :  get in touch with the Coochie Progress Association via their faceboook page. 

REGULAR AND YEARLY EVENTS ON COOCHIEMUDLO ISLAND 
FLINDERS DAY

Every year on the Sunday closest to the historic date of Matthew Flinders' landing on Coochiemudlo Island (July 19, 1799).
With a great re-enactment, market stalls, navy cadets, a parade and kids activities - join the celebration !
